25th Annual IEA-IETA-EPRI Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Emission Trading

Background information

The 25th annual workshop organised by the International Energy Agency (IEA), International Emissions Trading Association (IETA) and EPRI will take place in four sessions distributed among 2, 3 and 4 December 2025. The event will be hosted at the IEA (9, rue de la Federation, Paris). To foster a highly interactive and engaging experience, this year's event is designed to be exclusively in-person, and remote participation will not be available.

Always a widely-anticipated date in the global carbon trading calendar, this invitation-only workshop brings together over one hundred senior government officials, corporate executives, and researchers from non-governmental organisations and academia, to discuss the latest updates and prospects for GHG emissions trading around the world. The workshop combines presentations based on recent research with interactive discussions, held under the Chatham House Rule.
